Are you curious what modernizing your locomotives can do for your fleet?

One of our customers, David Simpson at LTEX, demonstrated the effectiveness of our locomotive control system at increasing the lifting capacity of a locomotive. He took two EMD GP15 locomotives, hooked each one up to 3 six-axle locomotives, turned on the air brakes on the trailing locomotives, and took the locomotives out onto a test track. One of the locomotives had a TMV Traction Engine Control Unit (TECU) on it and the other had the original equipment.

You can see the results in this video:

As a test, it was designed to demonstrate how effective the TECU, our locomotive control unit, is at increasing the lifting capacity of switcher locomotives. Our locomotive control system allows the tractions motors to put power to the rails more effectively, increasing adhesion and tractive effort.
