CP Holiday Train Arrives In Cambridge

This past week the CP Holiday Train arrived in Cambridge near our facility. CP Holiday Trains travel through dozens of communities across the continent, raising food and cash donations for food banks in local communities.

Because it was during the day, there were lots of families with young children who came out to see the train and show. It’s great to see the fascination that children of all ages have with trains.

As usual, the stage opened up and the band played a few numbers.

How does the band manage to play in sub-zero temperatures? The guitarists must get used to playing with cold fingers. The rest of the band is wearing gloves. Only in Canada!

Then the local dignitaries came out and CP Rail made a donation to a local food bank.

It’s great to see the generosity of the rail industry, particularly CP Rail, and its commitment to the local communities that are part of its network.

We wish the staff of the CP Holiday train safe travels and every success in their mission to provide healthy, nutritious food to communities across North America.
